Artist

Fidel Diaz Castán (Favio Castán) born January 27 1959 in Havana Cuba, graduated in art in Havana University and from law school at Moscow in 1983. Some of his literature works are:

Castan has written articles and collaborations for magazines and newspapers in Mexico  for magazine “ Siempre“ and newspapers “Reforma” and “Sol de Mexico“, and for “La Nacion” in Argentina and “ A toda marcha” in EEUU 
As a painter; Castán tries to give shapes of his poems depicting the environment in the forms of dreams and fantasy, they can be considered as a chronicle of the human anxiety. The use of the strong contrast of colors and the spontaneity of his poetic point of view of the reality, expressed with so rhetorical plasticity between the painter who writes and the writer who paints, trends to achieve the mixture of an infinite language where the verb and the image are brought together to involve the spectator in the artist’s world
